Scrapbook/commonplace book, possibly compiled by J. Hunt, of newspaper clippings (dated c. 1809-1829) from the "Trenton Federalist," "New Jersey States Gazette," "Boston Palladium," "From a London paper," etc. Clippings concern marriages, obituaries, poetry, proverbs, epitaphs, local happenings in Princeton, New Jersey and surrounding towns, Lafayette's visit to Princeton, NJ, etc. Clippings pasted down in earlier account book (dated c. 1795-1796) from New Jersey, written in unknown hand, containing accounts for general goods and food, manuscript poems, famous quotes, and recipes.
